My Valentine

It's nearing the day
I met you before, happy for me was the time,
That the sweetness of life let you choose to be my own valentine,
So happy was the day, it cried out in joy, when you knelt down to me,
Asking my hand on this joyous day, already knowing what my answer would
be.
You said, be my
sweet valentine, rise up and go with me, we'll make our place,
At some place on earth from sea to sea, we'll find our space,
Maybe in the woods, so the trees can bow down to our sweet love
together,
Knowing in our hearts, with no doubts about it, our love is forever.
Maybe the Goddess knew all about love, but she knew no more than we,
For from sun to sun and when night's begun, you and I will forever be,
Watching the moonbeams and the stars at night, enhances our love all the
more,
Then the morn brings the frosty dew, and with your finger, you write in
it, you I adore.
How much more, could I love thee? As much as the stars are forever, I
do,
And I know as my love for you grows, your love for me is twofold to.
So as we gaze at the starlight tonight and watch the twilight softly
turn to dawn,
And as we rise up and go toward the sun, we'll always know our two
hearts are one.
