"Wine is bottled poetry"

"A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry,  and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate
the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul."
- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

"Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood."  - - T. S. Eliot

The truth is that writing is the profound pleasure
and being read the superficial."

WHAT POETRY MEANS TO ME

A poem is a collection..
Of a few words, written in tune of life..
As we flow, as we stumble..

A poem is a drop of pain.
As the heart twists and turns,
In the dark, teary night..
The words weep, if the heart is dry.

A poem is a laughter unlaughed.
When the world is
Too practical to dream..
And the iron turns to gold.

A poem is You..
When I don't find you by my side.
The untold words I wish I could say..
In a whispering weave of dream.

A poem is our hopes, and despair
Our hopes and anguish.
And you read my words, and
I look in your eyes..
Through the words black and white.
